One hacker named Xen has claimed 31 million (3.1 crores) customers’ sensitive information collected, including name, address, contact details, PAN and Bank Accounts.

A forensic investigation has been started on the security breach of Star Health Insurance’s 31 million Customer’s sensitive data.

However, the Star Health official said that the operation has been going on without hampering anything.

Some media reports said that Star Health’s Chief Information Security Officer, Amarjeet, secretly sold sensitive data by taking a huge deal amount.

The hacker wants to sell the 31 million data to the other company for $150,000. Data security is the main concern of all online transactions. However, security breaches are now the main concern for all policy holders.

Higher officials said that Star Health has been working with Government bodies and cybersecurity experts to investigate the matter. Also, officials said that Start Health filed a lawsuit against Cyber Attacker.
